The political crisis which didn’t really show up in the date for the Q2 report (April to June) of this year. However, it did end up having an impact this quarter as GDP fell 1.6% from the first to second quarter of this year and is having a hard time rising this quarter with only a 0.5% increase.
During the third quarter of 2015, the commercial trade and services sector remained the most important to the GDP composition with a relative weight of 48%. The secondary sector, or industrial sector, had a relative weight of 24% of the GDP. The agricultural sector’s contribution decreased slightly to 13% (it was 14% last quarter). The government rounded out the third quarter composition comprising 16%.
